After being selected as a regional winner in the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2025, BSB Architecture along with the Client Ongo UK and G S Kelsey Construction attended the LABC Grand Finals in London last Friday. Here we competed against other regional winners and we are delighted to share that we lifted the title as Grand Finals Winner in our category, Best Small Social Housing Development, for our scheme of 28 bungalows at East Common Lane, Scunthorpe.

As we look ahead to 2026, we would like to take a moment to thank our clients and the many consultants and collaborators for their continued support over the past year.

BSB Architecture are thrilled to share that our scheme of 28 affordable homes for Ongo on East Common Lane in Scunthorpe has been selected as a regional winner in the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2025 in the category of Best Small Social Housing Scheme.

Designed at the turn of the last century to provide pleasant homes within a green setting that were artistic in appearance and well-built, yet within the means of working people. It truly is a wonderful place to experience, especially in the spring and summer months, when in full bloom. The village has grown and evolved over time, but new development has always endeavoured to stay faithful to the essence of the place.

From the 1st September the ARB Code of Conduct is changing, a timely update for the profession, which provides a juncture at which to revisit and refresh our alignment with the evolving expectations around concepts of competency, collaboration and confidence in the profession.

First impressions are everything. That’s where high-quality computer generated images become a vital tool in what we do at BSB Architecture, allowing clients, stakeholders and communities to see the vision of a project long before a single brick is laid.

The LABC Building Excellence Awards have been kind to BSB Architecture over the past ten years or so, having secured four regional winners in the Best Social or Affordable Housing category.

We were pleased last week to be at the handover of 9 affordable homes in the village of South Killingholme. These high-quality properties were built by Cube3 Construction for Ongo.

BSB Architecture were thrilled to be asked to sponsor the first prize in each category at the annual Croxby Primary Arts Festival.
